Or, A Single Paragraph in Lieu of the Book I Meant to Write, Titled *No Act to Drop*
People are constantly subconsciously mirroring one another. All the time. No amount of control can stop this process - when two people interact, something like an intercellular personality membrane is opened up that causes everyone involved to attempt to reach a sort of equilibria. This is impacted greatly by people's simulations of you - everyone is running predictive algorithms on each other all the time in order to make conversation more efficient. These simulations are *Leaky*, and so you end up mirroring people's simulations of your own behavior. Thus, you can actually control this by affecting your simulation in their minds by immanentizing a very specific aesthetic and archetype. The only way to have free will in the social world is to be aware of and *Steer* the simulations of you that are occuring in other people's minds - because you will end up eating that behavior over time. The same goes for aesthetics, if you always look like shit, people's opinion of you will go down, and it will cause a positive feedback loop where you actually start to feel like shit and then never look good again.
